TELLURIDE, CO- On Saturday, March 19th, a 69 year old man from South Carolina passed away after a collision with a tree at the Colorado ski resort. This is Telluride's 2nd death in just 10 days.

The Telluride Sheriff's Department reported that George A. Nolan lost both skis and slid on his side into trees while skiing with his daughter-in-law late Saturday afternoon. The man was wearing his helmet, but was unable to be resuscitated at the scene.

A man from Colorado Springs died just 10 days earlier after losing control in steep terrain and ended up in a wooded area.
