The Solid Seven will be a whenever the hell I feel like it article series detailing 7 solid, not necessarily great, skiing related topics. Whether it is 7 questions with everyone's favorite pro Jason Arens *cough* finish the damn interview *cough* (yes it's still not done yet), 7 epic BC jump shots, or the 7 gnarliest bails from the previous month, just know I'm doing you a solid.

Unaffiliated Productions

The guys over at Unaffiliated Productions have been running things in the Wisconsin scene the last 3 years. Rider Paul Marik was a SuperUnknown Semi-Finalist this last year and they swept the Hoofers Rail Jam in Madison. Their latest movie, Year Round, is sure to solidify their position as one of the premiere media groups on the rise in the Midwest's

860 Media

860 continues to impress me as the years go on. Their urban is massive, editing style is on point, and everyone in the crew brings something special to the table. With the likes of Lupe Hagearty leading the way, be on the look out for this crew to explode this year.

TwoBees Media

Founded in 2010 by William Binamé and Laurent Bilodeau, this Quebec based group has been on the rise ever since their inception. They premiered their first film, Clair de Lune, at IF3 in 2013 and haven't looked back. Be sure to keep tabs on one of the hottest crews to come out of Quebec.

You remember these guys don't you? They almost got shot by some crazy old dude at an urban spot in their movie last year. One of my favorite Eastern Euro crews, they are definitely taking urban to new heights in the slums of Latvia. Watch out, the Feds may get too jealous...

Inflik Media

These guys are nuts. They lived an entire winter out of their 24 foot Ford Econoline hitting urban all over British Columbia, even Revelstoke, yes Revelstoke. Jarred Martin also took home Best Crash of 2014 at IF3, which definitely made me wince in pain just watching.

Tabarnak Pack

Not much to say about these guys. They took NS by storm last year and for good reason. Hitting the gnarliest urban North of the border and doing so with immense style. Their stacked line up of riders (Dom, Hugo, Marty B, Seb Chartrand, & Seb Eaves) continued to deliver mind blowing footage edit after edit. Look for a very strong second season from these guys.

Young trap lords that love to turn up with the honeys and can throw down with the best of them. Led by Carson Kerr, they aren't ready to turn down for anything. #vitectakeover
