Arcade Belts and the High Fives Foundation Present the SKINNY Ski-A-Thon

An all day fundraiser to benefit the High Fives Foundation - Scheduled for April 1, 2013

(Truckee, Calif.) – April 1, 2013 Squaw Valley (Olympic Valley, CA) will host the SKINNY Ski-A-Thon from 9am-4pm. Participants will complete as many laps on the KT-22 lift as possible on “skinny” skis with a waist of 70 millimeters or less. In just over a week skiers and riders will hit the slopes at Squaw Valley for a fun day outdoors in the name of philanthropy. They will raise money for each completed lap and also gather flat donations with proceeds going to the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation. Join the event by individually registering, registering a team or sponsoring someone today at pledge.highfivesfoundation.org.

“Arcade Belts is stoked to once again work with the High Fives Foundation on this awesome event. I always have such a blast rocking out with our friends in silly outfits and sporting skinny skis while raising money for the Foundation. This is easily my favorite event of the year!” Tristan Queen – Arcade Belts

One avenue in which the High Fives Foundation procures funding for its three program services is through laid back and entertaining events such as the SKINNY Ski-A-Thon. High Fives takes pride in putting the word “FUN” in fundraising and the ultimate goal of these events is to continue the positive direction of healing, health and happiness inherent in the Foundation’s mission.

This year’s SKINNY Ski-A-Thon is the third year in a row for the fantastic, philanthropic event. For a taste of what’s to come, check out the video from the 2012 event on the High Fives Foundation’s Vimeo channel: vimeo.com/39617055. The SKINNY Ski-A-Thon is FREE to participate, although a lift ticket is required. Don’t delay, register today at pledge.highfivesfoundation.org.
