Team Americas and Team Europe have arrived in Zermatt, Switzerland, and the timing couldn't be better. After a week of storms, the athletes arrived to find sunny skis and the mountains above town covered in a white blanket of fresh snow.

On Saturday, the first order of business before the battle can begin with the draw. Captains Kaj Zackrisson (SWE) and Cody Townsend (USA) must strategically choose which of their riders to match against the other, and they'll alternate filling in spaces on the start list at the opening ceremony.

With the formalities completed, the action will get underway. Local mountain guide and member of the Swatch Pro Team Samuel Anthamatten gave it a go for the Big Mountain freeride competition to take place on an "Alaska style" face on Sunday morning. The first rider will drop at 9am sharp!

A video highlight of the day recaping the action will be posted on Sunday evening on www.swatchskierscup.com!
