It's easy to forget how good Spencer is because he tends to show up, drop bombs and then disappear off the radar for a while. I touched base with him to find out a bit more about the move and his upcoming season. With any luck a new sponsor means we'll be seeing a lot more Spencer footage because the edit is incredible!

You've recently signed a deal to join the Revision Skis Fam, how did the move come about?

Bill and I have been friends for some time now and the move just kind of happened. I reached out to Bill and we grabbed a beer and talked and everything seemed right and yeah I was lucky enough to be able to join the Revision Fam. I've always had a feeling that if I was to leave Armada I would end up working with Bill and thats what happened and I couldn't be more stoked to be working with him and the rest of the Revision team.

What is it about Revision that drew you to them?

There is a lot that drew me to Revision, the company is really in touch and close with their athletes which is sick because we get to be able to have a say in how we would like to have the ski ski. The company is extremely rider driven and Bill is just an awesome guy, he really cares about his athletes and wants nothing but the best for everyone. His drive is the right kind of drive for this industry and not a lot of people have that in the ski world. I also really like how he cares about the people buying his products, he makes a great affordable ski and warranties them for what they are actually intended to be used for so people can just keep skiing.

The move ends your long term relationship with Armada, was that difficult decision?

Yeah I mean it's always hard to leave a company that you have been with for such a long time. They make great skis and other products but idk I just wasn't feeling completely right there any more and just had a feeling that it was time to move on.

What are your plans for this coming winter? More MI urban?

Yeah more Mi urban for sure haha. Definitely going to be going back there for some time and then just kind of chase where the snow falls from there and try to stack as many clips as I can. I will for sure be working with the rest of the Revision team closely, matter a fact we kind of have something in the works right now that we are all getting pretty stoked on!
