SIA AND RSN EXPAND THE GOODS TELECAST AT SIA.08 SNOWSPORTS TRADE SHOWMcLean, VA (December 13, 2007) – For the third straight year, SnowSports Industries America (SIA) will team up with Resort Sports Network (RSN) to produce a four-day telecast of RSN's gear program, The Goods. The show will preview and review the people, gear, events, and parties that comprise the SIA.08 SnowSports Trade Show, taking place in Las Vegas, January 29-February 1, 2008.As is year’s past RSN is aiming to capture the full Vegas bling of the SIA Show.  RSN will mobilize three hosts – Beth Lahr York, Doug Lewis, and Kelley Lewis – who will provide comprehensive coverage of trends, gear, accessories, fashions, and technology. This year the program will highlight more events, athletes, and SIA personalities in an effort to capture the vibe and culture from the Vegas show floor.  Further, The Goods will include a daily segment, The Green Zone, to report on the industry’s efforts to fight climate change and be more eco-friendly. Footage from each day at SIA will comprise the four daily 25-minute episodes of The Goods. The RSN production team shoots each day then edits and produces the 25-minute segment for airing the next day at all SIA partner hotels: The Excalibur, The Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and THE Hotel as well as on the show floor.  After the Show, the four episodes will be edited to create an hour-long program which will be seen on RSN Television at resort areas around the nation this spring and again in the fall. SIA will also distribute copies of The Goods with their Industry Planner in July.RSN is in a unique position as the only national television network of its kind to bring industry news, such as this tradeshow, to consumers.
