Its been long overdue, but we need to introduce the riders on our team this year. Alot of them are quite vocal in the NS community, and all of them have a particular style and attitude that we love and want to see more of.

WILLEM COLLIER

Birthday: February 27, 1992

Home Mountains: Park City (likely to change), Alta

Where you ride now: Park City, Alta, backcountry destinations, and concrete waves.

ON3P Quiver: 181 Blue Steele's and 181 Caylor's

What's so great about your mountain?

I don't think there is anything in the world that beats waking up at 5:30 AM, beating the Little Cottonwood Canyon closure, waiting in the Gold Minors Daughter, and then finally skiing off of one of the first Wildcat chairs of the morning in deep blower Utah pow all while getting cheered on by the loudest most righteous crowd of old Alta geezers you ever could imagine. Long sentence, but I think that sums up why Alta is great.

Favorite photographer/filmer?

I would say Eddie Grams, who films Variety Pack (snowboarding) is probably my favorite filmer for his artsy and raw style. Trevor Woods is my favorite photographer because he is cute ;).

Favorite thing you enjoy doing on skis?

3 things:

1: Anything and everything to do with skiing deep powder.

2: Lapping a fun jump line when you're feelin' it.

3: backflips

If you could spend a week skiing anywhere, where would it be?

This ones a bit far fetched: Gulmarg, India. Epic cultural experience, guns, and (I would assume) a lot of untracked powder on wildly different terrain.

Why do you ski so much?

Because its the easiest way to do a backflip.

SAM HURST

Birthday: October 16, 1990

Home Mountain: Solitude

Where you ride now: Park City Mountain Resort / Snowbird / Utah backcountry / Urban

ON3P Quiver: CAYLORS – Just how I like em, fat and playful. VERY easy to ride and maneuver through tight situations. Good backcountry jib ski. BLUE STEELES – Incredibly solid park ski. Completely symmetrical, light (bamboo!), poppy, and radical graphics!

What’s so great about your mountain?

PCMR – Huge community of freeskiers who all know each other and just have FUN. We don’t train here. If you’re looking to do some of that, you know where to go. I’d give you a hint, but if I make it blatantly obvious all the kids from Colorado will get mad at me. Wait a minute…

Snowbird – Steep and deep.

Favorite photographer/filmer?

Photographer – Trevor Woods. Just look at the picture that is somewhere near these questions. Not only a skilled photographer, but an outrageously good graphic designer as well.

Filmer – Kevin Steen. The mastermind behind Clown School media. Kevin knows how to capture and illustrate the fun aspects of whatever it is he’s filming. If there was someone about to provide a worthy trick for an edit vs. someone smiling off in the distance, he would most likely pan over and film the kid who is smiling. And his long blonde hair is so dreamy.

Favorite thing you enjoy doing on skis?

No matter what size, shape, or form, if I can backflip off it, I’ll enjoy it.

If you could spend a week skiing anywhere, where would it be?

Chamonix. Willem went there, and it’s all he talks about. I’m jealous.

Why do you ski so much?

I ski because it is the single, most fun thing, I’ve ever done. That is why I have kept doing it since my father first took me when I was just three years old. I love to ski for the moments, and memories it provides on a daily basis, and will continue to do it my whole life.

RICH FAHEY

Birthday: April 11, 1988

ON3P Quiver: 171 Jeronimo, 176 Billy Goat, 181 Caylor.

What's so great about your mountain?

Park City has an amazing park and gets a good amount of snow each season. The vibe there is really fun and everyone throws down together. It’s always just a huge group of friends shredding together which is the best.

Favorite photographer/filmer?

4bi9 filmers! (AJ, Kevin, Napes)

Favorite thing you enjoy doing on skis?

Skiing powduh and hitting jumps in the BC.

If you could spend a week skiing anywhere, where would it be?

Catskiing at Retallack. It looks like the most fun terrain ever!

Why do you ski so much?

It’s the best, most fun thing to ever do with your time. There’s nothing better than skiing.

JOSHUA R ANDERSON THE FIRST

Birthday: March 9, 1984

Home Mountain: Crystal Mtn., WA

Where you ride now: Squaw Valley

ON3P Quiver: 181 Wren, 186 Billy Goat, 181 Jeronimo? and the single JBS I didn't leave buried in AK dammit...

What's so great about your mountain?

It snows a ton, then the sun comes out and everybody gets super duper rad and skis down and jumps off things for crying out loud. I mean, it's Squaw Valley!... and I only live 10 minutes away, which is cool.

Favorite photographer/filmer?

Filmer: Jeff Thomas (Theory-3/PBP). Jeffy's the man... builds mean booters and slings tequila like Wyatt Earp. As far as photographers, a fine-art photographer from the UK/PNW named Michael Kenna (Michael Kenna) is the man. His images are phenomenal... and otherwise... i gotta go ahead and plug http://www.japhotog.com. Cough cough.

Favorite thing you enjoy doing on skis?

I'd say everything but crashing, but crashing's not all bad either. Except ski boots... I hate ski boots. Just gotta reach for CR and think about how today is going to be the greatest day ever.

If you could spend a week skiing anywhere, where would it be?

AK, no doubt... Haines, Valdez... wherever, AK is seriously skiing's land of milk and honey. I do want to ski Russia someday.

Why do you ski so much?

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand the question... laugh. I definitely do not ski enough. Maybe I ski because I see people like Shane or CR out there... RIP... or Seth or Abma or Sage or JP doing what they do and just can't help myself.

DAVID STEELE

Birthday: Same as Ray Magliozzi, but forty years later.

Home Mountain: Big Mountain

ON3P Quiver: 191 Caylors, 191 Wrock3tships, 181 Jeronimos

Stills: Craig Moore, Noah Clayton, William Brussell

Motion: Shane Dowaliby, Ryan Ward

Favorite thing you enjoy doing on skis?

Snorkeling through untouched, stable, PNW pow.

If you could spend a week skiing anywhere, where would it be?

The Kamchatka, Chamonix, or whatever wilderness I was last ogling to the south of Stevens.

Why do you ski so much?

Every pow face's dream is to be graced with the bases of ON3Ps. I'm just out there doing my part to grant their wishes.

And last, but not least, we've recently added hometown hero Collin Wright to the team! Considering he joined just last week, we've yet to get some shot of him doing what he does best on our skis, but thats what a second update is for. A little bit about Collin:

Birthday: 2/16/89

Home mountain: Mt. Hood

Where you ride: Timberline

On3p quiver: Blue Steele

What's so great about your mountain?

Timberline has good parks all the time.

Favorite thing you enjoy doing on your skis?
