The forums are touting yet another Mustache March. There was a time in my life when I would have liked that. As I've gotten older, and my own mustache has developed into the beauty that it is, I've grown tired of Mustache March. When you dedicate a month to some fashion statement, it has to be funny, and slightly embarrassing. There's nothing funny about mustaches -- unless you think that confidence, good looks, and overpowering masculinity are funny. So what's the point of dedicating a month to their honor?

Last December, I proposed an alternative to Mustache March. I am ashamed to say that, driven by the same hope for pussy that drove EastCoast_destruction to curse me, I didn't follow through with it. Peter Olenick did though. And every time I see him, I am awestruck by how good he looks.
