A few months ago Keely Kelleher honored the late ski racer Spencer Nelson, by entering a photograph in a Warren Miller contest. With over 2000 Facebook Likes, she ended up winning the contest and donating the grand prize — a 6 day heli-ski trip to Alaska — to Spencer’s younger brother Connor.

The winning shot? Here it is… it’s of Spencer’s friend, Shred ambassador and photographer Marcus Caston hitting some serious pow.

Connor plans on bringing some of his older brother’s ashes with him on the Alaska trip to spread them in the great mountains he so loved. We congratulate Keely and send the Nelson family our thoughts and prayers.

Have a great trip, Connor!
