Oct. 1, 2004 is the date of the 4th annual JibFest at Georgian College. The JibFest is a pre-season rail competition put on by students at the college in Barrie, Ontario.

The fun starts at 11am with bmx demos, live music, vendors and lots of free stuff! Things wrap up at 8pm, followed by an after party at the on-campus bar.

Organizer Mike Duncan told us, “This year's JibFest is gonna be better than ever, sick jibs, bands, beer tent, vendors and more... Don’t miss the kick-off party of the year!

Invites have been given out to some of Ontario’s best skiers, but if you didn’t get one, you’re not completely out of luck. There are a limited number of open spots available the morning of the competition. Registration starts at 8:30am and is based on a first come, first serve basis, so get there early!

Georgian College is an easy drive or bus ride at approximately one hour north of Toronto.
