Jan Michaelis is new member of the AMPLID team!

The AMPLID Research Cartel has been enforced by a prominent new member: the German double Olympic participant Jan Michaelis now rides for the AMPLID team! After taking a break from contests subsequent to the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, the Hamburg inhabitant now plans to return to the contest circuit and aims high again: “I want to qualify for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver!” Asked for the reasons for his re-start, he said: “I’m just eager to ride again!” The 30-year-old half-pipe specialist won the half-pipe world cup in 2002 and 2006 and took part in the Olympic Games 2002 and 2006. Jan Michaelis rides the AMPLID UNW8 159 and is looking forward to the cooperation with amplid: “With AMPLID, I’ve found a rider-driven brand that is all about the perfect shred and that’s what I love, too. The new, super-light material even pushes me as a 30-year-old to the next level.”
