In honor of Jackson Hole's 50th Anniversary, they have brought back a series of historical events- including skijoring.

"Skijoring is putting a skier behind a horse with a 30 foot rope asking the skier to go around 16-20 gates, a few jumps, with the horses running wide open. It's a combination of western horsemanship and ski racing, a little bit of a water skiing element with the rope, making it adrenaline packed 15-20 seconds of fun."
