Three things that usually sum up the first Ski day of the Season:
1) Despite spending hours the night before—checking my gear—double-checking it and either forgetting something important (usually gloves) or breaking something, leaving me unable to do anything about it for the rest of the day.
2) Spending all day climbing Mountains with (almost) no Snow. Although Snow was likely hidden somewhere beneath the mud, dirt and grass that composed the majority of my runs.
3) Getting overexcited, leading me to proclaim it was one of the best first days of the Season I`ve ever had.
