Saint-Sauveur, Monday December 29th – Now that the nice weather is back, winter sport lovers will be spoiled by all that MSSI centers have to offer. The next few days promise to be beautiful and sunny with temperatures slightly under the freezing point and snow falls are expected during course of the week. This fresh snow will be an added bonus for our clientele. Skiers and snowboarders will be able to take full advantage of the nice weather on the slopes.

Since mid-December, all centers of the Valley of Saint-Sauveur are in full operation thanks to 4,75 feet of snow fall in our region and the man-made snow provided by our new fleet of snow guns. Tube slides are also in operation at Mont Avila and Edelweiss. Snow surfaces are mechanically groomed daily to provide skiers and snowboarders with ideal conditions.

The MSS SNOPRK at Mont Avila is operational as well. Skiers, snowboarders and thrill-seekers, can brag about being privileged enough to be able to enjoy the practice of their favorite sport in the biggest snow park in Quebec. Drawn and supervised by the Drizzle Inc. team, the park has been erected by the operations team of Mont Saint-Sauveur. MSS SNOPRK is among the best conceived parks in North America. It is important to remember that Mont Saint-Sauveur puts emphasis on security by providing constant customer activity supervision.

MSSI’s clientele will be able to take full advantage of the recent 4.5 millions dollar investment which has brought attractive improvements to its centers. For the benefit of the users, the brand new quad chairlift, l’Étoile, is now in operation, with its boarding conveyor this new lift is equipped to handle 2 400 passengers per hour. As well, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the pleasures of après-ski on the newly designed terrace at the Mont Saint-Sauveur ski chalet.
