Hello Freeski Short Film Released For Free

Flatlight Films releases it´s first freeski film Hello for free through digital distribution channels. It is available on http://hello.flatlightfilms.com. The film was shot during five days at Ylläs, Finland in April 2010 with couple of the best Finnish skiers AJ Kemppainen, Pekka Hyysalo and a young and talented Antti Ollila. Eight minutes of high class skiing is directed by Miikka Niemi and filmed by Miikka Niemi, Iisakki Kennilä and Aarni Toiviainen. Film was supported by Salomon and Marker Völkl. Hello is taking part in IF3 Europe Film Festival in Annecy, France this weekend.

"The project was intense and a great experience. Long sessions on and off the hill. Our partner Olympus Finland provided us i-SPEED 3 hispeed camera that we used to get great slow motion.” Says director Miikka Niemi.

Starring skier AJ Kemppainen comments "I'm really hyped to see this movie come out! Me and Pekka were very lucky to have such a professional and hard working group of people from Flatlight Films with us. Fun memories, for sure! We also managed to get a lot of cool still pictures with Petri Kovalainen from this trip.”

Flatlight Films is a production company based in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. Company produces and films commercials, music videos and documentaries.
