Le Samedi 12 Novembre avait lieu le premier D-Open au d-structure St-Julie pour l'ouverture officielle de la nouvelle boutique.
L'événement
fut un succès monstre avec environ 90 riders. Nous sommes très heureux
de voir que nous avons l'appui de tous les riders de la région et sommes
en feu pour produire plus d'événements à Montréal. Un gros merci aux
commanditaires qui nous ont aidé dans ce projet : elevent/ Coreupt /
Nordica / Oakley / Bud lite / redbull , et aussi le groupe de OFR et
René Caza pour le set up incroyable.
Nous
avons eu la chance de voir des très gros rails, car nous avions une
finale avec les 20 meilleurs riders du Québec . Émile Bergeron nous a
démontré qu'il fait parti de la relève et presque prêt à tout exploser.
Christopher Bolduc a rider solide toute la soirée et a mérité une 4 ième
place vraiment proche d'un podium. Jérome Vallée nous a tous surpris
avec de grosses manoeuvres et avec sa constance il a pris la 2 ième
place. Wacht out pour lui l'an prochain! En 3 ième position, Gabriele
Boudreaux a été solide et très constant ça promet pour lui cette année
aussi . La première place est revenue à Benoit Gendron, Il a fait
d'énormes rails très technique et variés. Le best trick revient à Frank
Gp avec un gap lip 270 sur le box et 9 heure à l'hôpital pour ce faire
recooudre le dos ...
Encore une fois merci à tout le monde et mon team / staff pour votre aide et le succès de cette première édition du D-open .
The
12th of november was the first D-Open to celebrate the opening of new
D-Structure at St-Julie. The event was a success with around 90
freeskiers entering the contest with a 1000 $ winner take all prize.
We
were super stoked to see so much support from the Montréal skiing
community and we are ready to continue to do more events in Montréal.

With
such a good set up, we had the chance to see some real good stuff on
the rail. Émile Bergeron proved to us that he will soon be one of the
best skiers out there. Christopher Bolduc had very good night as well
and was real close to a 3 place. In 3rd, we got Jérome Valle that came
out of no where! Make sure to check this kid out this season. Second
place went to Gabriel Boudreaux, with a lot of style with tricks and
variety. 1st place went to Benoit Gendron with a perfect night
consisting of some big tricks on all the rails and a lots of different
tricks.
Once again thanks to all the team and staff for their help which created this as a successful first event .
