Any field that you specialize in or particularly like?

I focus mainly on skiing and landscape photography. Over the last year I started getting into weddings as an assistant photographer and then event and portrait photography as well.

Have you had any technical training, or are you self taught?

Taught myself everything for a while and then took a black and white film class, photojournalism class, Commercial Photo class, a Landscape Photo Class, and Digital imaging class at the local Community College (LTCC). I will probably continue to take classes just for the fun of it.

How long have you been photographing skiing?

I have been shooting skiing now for 3 years. Started slowly making money doing it this year.

Any Advice to other photographers?

Have fun! That is the main thing I strive on when out shooting is to have as much fun as possible. Try shooting with every aperture stop on your fastest lens, gets those creative juices flowing.

What was your first camera?

My dads Fuji point and shoot, but the first camera I bought was a Canon Rebel XSI.

Any advice to anyone looking to get into photography?

Learn the history of it. It is a very interesting subject on how all of this came to be. Shoot constantly! The more often you shoot the quicker you will progress and the better you will get.
