You know that feeling when you’re putting on your wet, frozen ski boots because you forgot to get them out of the car the night before?  Now imagine two weeks with no rest, no work and a steady diet of oatmeal and spaghetti.  Mix in a few two many IPA’s, about 12 feet of perfect 27degree snow and what you have is a ski bums dream come true.

Most other places 150” in 18 days would be a record but at Mt. Baker it’s called a good storm.  We have a few days off now while the snow goes through a much needed consolidation process, then all forecasts point to continued precipitation at lowering freezing levels.  In other words: do your laundry and go to the bank because come Friday it’s game-on.
