The FIS Freestyle World Championships Halfpipe event happens once
every 2 years, and this year it took place in Japan.
Rossignol was well represented by Rosalind Groenewoud (CAN), Kevin
Rolland (FRA), Xavier Bertoni (FRA), David Wise (USA), Vivien Thiery
(FRA) and Nathan Wood (CAN).

David Wise wins Aspen Open Half Pipe
The Aspen Open is a special event as it’s the only real open to happen in North America this year and takes place on the same course as X games which was 2 weeks prior, attracting the sports best fresh talent. The young kids have all the tricks with tons of style and many of the competitive runs from both the pipe and slopestyle course could have easily podiumed with the big names at X.
Sage walks through the 09/10 SAS product line and talks about the new gear. The S3 is completely redesigned next year with a rocker'd tip/tail and standard camber, plus it boasts a 98mm waist to keep it beefy without overdoing it.
Kevin wins gold and Xavier takes 2nd at the PCMR FIS World Cup Half Pipe this weekend.

Xaver Bertoni took the gold on his second run in X-Games XIII
Superpipe on Thursday night, finishing on top of the podium in front of
Tanner Hall and Simon Dumont. The last athlete to finish ahead of
Tanner and Simon was Candide Thovex, plaving Xavier in elite company at
the top of his sport.
Xavier crushed it in qualifying rounds, he's number two heading into the finals tonight. Kevin is right on his tail, easily making the cut at fourth.
Kevin, Roz, and Xavier are chilling at the Rossi house and getting in laps at the pipe.
Lynsey joined up with the boys for a trip over to Valhalla and one last session before next season's SAS introduction. Check out the footage after the break.

Team Rossignol was up at SnoH2O in BC the last few days, getting some days in now that the snow is starting to come down. Conditions are still bony underneath, Mike skewered himself on some hardwood but is back with the crew again to shoot down in Valhalla after a handful of pain pills and new tetanus booster.
