Perspective is a movie that has as its protagonists freeskiing, snowboarding and its emerging athletes ...Its goal? Put these two sports in a different light, less commercial ... the light of streetstyle! The movie was entirely shot in our beautiful Dolomites valleys, precisely in Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa, exploring, however, unconventional locations ... urban structures, roads, fences and walls that the different riders have turned, with extreme creativity, in real ski slopes. Undisputed stars of this project, faces already known in the national stage: Igor Lastei, Denis Battisti, John Zulian for freeskiing; Emil Zulian, David Liberatore, Norman Chiocchetti for snowboarding. Suffering a tragic and unexpected loss when skiing's unabashed maverick and Harlaut's friend Tom Warnick passed away early season, Harlaut started his wildest contest season yet: defending X-games gold, throwing Wu-tang signs in Russia during the premiere of slopestyle at the Olympics, and organizing his first ever invitational event with his brother, Phil Casabon. "Looking back at this year is so crazy for me," Harlaut says. "But I had the most fun and it'll all be exposed in 'The Road to Zion."After the craziness of the Olympics filming finally started Finland, Austria, Italy and back to Colorado, jet-setting back Europe for the premiere B&E inventational event and finishing it all off up in northern Sweden.
Peace Keynote Skier is a 6 month project showcasing the skills of Phil ?B-Dog? Casabon and friends in a blend of various aspects within skiing. Inspired by music, the hip hop genre in this case, this movie creates a union between visual and auditive senses in order to give each image identity and value. This particular soundtrack is the piece of work from member of the Wu-Tang Clan, U-God.
