Slow moving, no bullshit and darkly lit doesn't sound like a ski movie but the Nordic Hooligans is just that. Nordic Hooligans is a neo-noir urban ski movie. Handrails clink in the dark hours of the night all over Finland. Brothers Matti and Juho Vesanen started a production company in 2011 and have made commercials to such brands as Finnair and Volkswagen. They were also responsible for the video productions of SLUSH and Flow Festival. What made them grab the camera and make a different kind of ski movie with powerful visuals and music?"
