ok, so i spent the last week and a half up at desolation sound (about 3/4 the way up vancouver island on the inside) on my friend's boat. we stayed up in pendrall sound (on redona island) for like 3 days, and the water was around 72 degrees! anyways, this is what we did:
tied a skiing line (water skiing mind you) on a tree atop a big cliff. The line was probably 300 feet or so (the cliff was around 50 ft) on the line we attached a ski tow handle (about 75 feet from the tree or so), and then tied the other end of the line to a dinghy that had TONS of power. you hung on the the handle, and the guy in the boat would haul ass straight out, straightening the line, and slingshotting you about 40 ft into the air!!! it was insane! no need to climb up to a rope swing to fall 10 feet, get pulled up 40 feet, and drop, then do it again!!!!
Word up to all the subie owners out there!
