The Vishnu presale is soon so they will probably be similar price, wets come in longer sizes if that matters to you. I ride wets for street and there is no ski I would rather be on for that. Vishnus also have a bamboo/poplar core, which I think is more lively than a full poplar core which is what bdogs have. It’s also a smaller company which I like. But at the same time if you get bdogs you are supporting the street skiing goat, so you really can’t go wrong here.

I know that both skis are pretty soft but I don’t really know how soft the bdogs are compared to other soft skis

I would wager that even though armada pulls in far more money than Vishnu, Vishnu gives more total $ to their street riders and the community as a whole. I MAY be wrong though. BDog seems like a great ski but you’re going to see far more durability out of a wet since armadas sidewalls are rather brittle and are known for splitting. I hate to shit talk armada but I’ve seen way too many pairs blow up underfoot way too quick.


also wets are far lighter and softer. Bdogs are kinda stiff especially in the tails. Your call though.

They aren’t that much stiffer, they are just a more traditional park ski

Not a lot stiffer. It's pretty much just the tails are stiffer.

They both ski very similar, so there is not really a better ski out of the two. The wets are more flexy throughout the whole ski, and the b dogs are really buttery in the noses. The wets are also cheaper and i think the b dogs are a bit more durable. It Manly boils down to personal preference though.

That’s not a good thing. Skis shouldn’t be symmetrical regardless of how often you ski switch or do park. The technique of skiing backwards vs forwards is different. It’s not like snowboards where riding switch is the same technique as regular. That’s why even dedicated park skis still have different tail and nose dimensions.

First, I wasn’t saying it was a good thing or a bad thing, I was just stating that wets are true symmetrical. And second I ski a true symmetrical park ski and I really like it, so it’s just personal preference.
