He didn't go to jail, he got fined, I don't think it's a limit on free speech but rather a limit on how insane the lies you propagate can be. He's not a random dude, he is in a sense a reporter or journalist of some kind? If you said some shit like that, nothing would happen, but media outlets shouldn't be allowed to spit lies. I know this is a double standard since most news outlets lie and I'm not defending those that do, but I think the media should absolutely be held to a different standard than average civilians. Buzzfeed should also be sued for the same exact reasons Alex Jones was, this is a real problem within the media in general.
