Laser engraver

Got my hands on a laser engraver and I'm gonna test it on some wooden coaster so give me stuff to put on it

Can you engrave plastic without it messing up the surface? Would be cool to put your name and contact info on your skis. Also doesn't need to be ransomware just something funny or disturbing if you do put QR codes on stuff.

It's kinda like a copier thing so I don't think I can fit a ski in it

I wasted half a year in school making 3d topographic map. It would have been like 4 week project with the amount of classes we had, but i hated the teacher and spent half a year on it. The map looked like 11 year old made it.
