Aight so last time I came here searching for answers I learned a thing or 2. Basically thought I’d master something dope but yer boi got fucked up and destroyed his shins cause dins didn’t release (set to 8) on a pretty brutal fall. After a solid month of healing and icing and all that shit I hit the mountain again but now my shins are sort of sensitive when I land jumps and what not. I’m just wondering what I can do to stop this from happening again next season. I know in Maui Thai they kick metal poles with their shins to strengthen them so would that same approach theoretically work for my problem? Definitely sounds tistic I know but it’s the best I can think of right now since it’s just kind of bone right there. Lmk what I should do thanks
Get two different density foam rollers and roll those legs and shins. In addition, i have only gotten shin bang from landing backseat, so try to land more proper and the pain will go away.

The thing where you have a kettle bell on your foot and you raise your toes towards you. Idk what its called but it hella strengthens your skins. Don’t do it within 2 days of skiing

essentially weighted tibialis raise, might try this thx
Actually OP, your skiing backseat or took a few backseat landings. Yes, tail presses count too. They are a bitch, I used to get them all the time as a teen and when I dont land a frontflip on my feet. They were so bad once that I could feel blister lumps down my shins in the springtime.

idk who would downvote the first person to finally tell OP he's skiing backseat.
