I'm lookin for some new skis. I'm 174 cm tall, 160 pounds. Advanced intermediate skier mainly like trees and side hits and park.
Currently I got faction prodigy 3's 178 cm and volk revolt 95 in 172 cm
I find the prodigy really really nice in pow and decently maneuverable in it. Nice on jumps and some park. But outside of pow days find em heavy and really tough to throw around in the cut up conditions.
Volks are kinda bland not as much pop or flex, nice for locking in rails. Maybe a bit big on me for tryna spin and also edges do not hold well on ice
Looking for a ski to replace my volks or maybe just 1 ski for all my functions. I don't really leave resort , maybe hike and do back country within resort. West coast Canada.
I can hit black tree runs, make my way down double blacks, and can 180 small jumps and hits, slide smaller rails and boxes. Tryna progress to be more playful in park and all around doin 360s and butters and stuff. Always rode twin tips but open to something that isn't a twin but enough splayed to land switch
What would u guys recommend for a poppy, maneuverable in the bumps and trees ski that I can progress my park skills at. And what length? Am I riding too long for my abilities or is shorter gonna be harder when tryna plow thru the sus conditions?
Been looking at arv 96, edollos, nordica unleashed, ruslter 9s etc.
Open to suggestions!!!!!!
