Need help with picking new Skis

Both the 1000's and v's are soft skis with no backbone. If you want a noodle ski that will suck for sending and smashing bumps at top speed then you are set. I personally would look elsewhere.

I’d look into J Skis. There joyride edition costs $499 and you could slap some bindings on there for $600

Since you live in Europe shipping for Vishnus is going to make it rather expensive. The K2 Poacher could be a great readily available where you're at or honestly those new Fischer nightsticks look rather fun.

My livelihood relies on selling the skis so upfront I have a bias. With that in mind, here are some objective facts:
we use a 2.2x2.5mm extra thick edge.
that’s paired with a 1.8mm base (50% thicker than typical)
the wood veneer topsheet is protected with an epoxy layer pressed in, making it a bit of a composite material meaning it chips like other plastic skis
the hardwood walnut sidewalls get treated with teak oil and so are sealed and strengthened with that
it’s all Italian glass and carbon, leading to a longer lasting energetic flex.
there’s an extre layer of glass under the bindings for screw retention and even if you tear a binding out you can just spin it round and remount because it’s full symmetric and the graphic works whichever way round
if something goes wrong, they’ve a 2 year factory defect warranty
if you break one, we sell single ski replacements.

It’s tape pull 178, so more like 180 from others and it’s a more classic park ski, not quite full camber but not lots of rocker - so it skis kind of long.
