Coming off a minor injury and wondering if skiing with knee braces will do me any good? Like helping with stabilization and so on.
Also would like the opinion on skiing with knee braces even when injury free?

N41v131355are you talking about soft kree braces or hard ones like CTI, for example? Lot's of folks ski with braces. I've heard that canada freeski team only trains with knee braces on and that's a requirement.
CantdoshtTalking about the soft ones, like only tight fabric
LamSobinskyHad a bit of weirdness in my knee at the beginning of the season. Tried one of those knee compression sleeves out and I found it to be problematic. Where the fabric stopped at the top of the brace, it felt like it was atrophying some of the muscles on the back of my quad. Could just be that I wasn’t wearing it correctly, but it would also slide down my leg every 5-10 laps on a tow rope which was very annoying. I would say only wear one if you absolutely feel the need for extra support in the knee.
TheBigTicketAs an ex basketball player who also went trough a knee surgery last summer im gonna tell you that knee braces/supports are godly creation. Couple of friends rocking knee braces even tho they're fully healthy but ive heard that it really supports them on some big ass jumps and sketchy landings.
