Landed on a rock today and found this at the end of the day. It's like 10 inches long and 1/2 inch wide all the way through. I talked to some ski techs I used to work with and they basically told me to throw the skis away, but I've only had one season on them. Any ideas to get as much time out of these as possible as far as ptex/epoxy goes? I don't really want to put much money into them but want to keep them around as long as possible. Thanks fellas.

I recently had a huge bubble/ edge punch thing that got fixed by a shop. 1st day back on those skis the epoxy had cracks.

That can be fixed. You just need the right stuff. Invest for the future! Long video, but need to watch it all.
Don’t listen to shops, they just want you to buy new skis from them. Those are totally chilling. Fill with ptex and if you do it really well it might stay for ages. It might come out but just put more ptex in if that happens and they’ll continue to live on.
get w soldering iron and base weld material. that shit'd be a breeze w that. cost me $60 (prolly $80ish after ship) for that stuff last spring and it was pretty easy to find. just make sure you get a chisel tip on the soldering iron
