So I'm lookin around Import dealers online cuz its what I do on my days off... and I saw this RVR. looked closer and see the "By Nordica" decal. Not sure if this was a legit edition Mitsubishi did back in 95? cuz I know a lot of car manufacturers in the 90's did weird collaborations with companies... or if the previous owner of this car back in Japan was just CORE?
google aint turnin much up, but was wondering if anyone on here had some weird knowledge
All I could find was Nissan doing a Nordica brand version of the 1987 Prarie 2000, guessing maybe it came with extra winterisation stuff included, and maybe lifted since they included Nordica's old slogan "Reach a new high":
could be a similar situation with Mitsubishi? although I see nothing about it online. Did come across Nordica sponsoring Volvo in the 80/90's touring car world which gives some great liveries, and found this car
Late 90's Volvo V90 with an LS1 swap with the Nordia graphics all over.
Could just be a Nordia rep with a sticker, but anyone who keeps their car that well-kept for close to 30 years probably doesn't put stickers on it.
I know in addition to the Nordica Nissan Collab Nissan also made a trim model of the Avenir GT called the "Chalet Express" which was marketed to Japanese Ski resorts as it was redesigned that year to look nearly identical to the high selling Subaru Legacy. As a former owner of one of these Nissans I can tell you it was mistaken more times than I could count for an early 90's Legacy Wagon. I haven't been able to find any metrics on how many ski resorts actually used these but I imagine it was probably Similar to the Honda Beagle which I've found to be very few for how surprisingly well they do in snowy conditions, especially the Nissan with its available diesel engine.
