Chuck full of transplants that move here and proceed to bitch about the housing crisis, tech bros buying houses, traffic and lines at the resorts.....while somehow not realizing they are the exact issue they are screaming at the sky about. Seen it happen to a couple of my friends that moved up there and its absolutely hilarious.
The people I know that grew up here are all chill and used to it. They spend a good amount of time laughing at the people mentioned above.
Once you know who to look for and ignore the dipshits the vibes are immaculate.

Used to live in Denver but never hit booby hill (wasn’t into park at the time). But I’ve seen on here some wack videos and someone posted about how many kids just showed up and got high or drunk without even skiing.

Nah the edits are fire, meant like anything ankilla related. Trying to fight kids and stuff.

But nah, the vibe is actually super good. I’ll go there after a long day of work and bust my ass learning a new trick, and when you land something you’ve been trying for a while everyone gets hype, skiers and boarders. It’s really cool I’ve met a ton of great people there, it’s a cesspool of progression, I genuinely feel bad for people that don’t have something like Ruby Hill lol
STEEZUS_CHRI5TGranite Peak 2008-2015 had the most competitive jock culture. There was a smugness in the air. Butterstickinc and some other small crews thought they ran that place. Haven't been there in years.
Frrr, I started “park skiing” there when I was like 12 inside that timeframe, I was always scared to try shit cuz everybody was so competitive while I was tryna learn lmaoo.
nowadays the scene is exclusively kids that are absolutely cracked and under 16. Then just a select crew of Vishnu homies who are chill to ride with, usually see a few OGs that I used to ride with when winter break rolls in.
other than that it’s just Chicago assholes coming to pay $90 for a lift ticket and bitch at lifties for lines
Honestly southern utah really sucks rn. I had a good crew going at Brian Head but they all left up north for Brighton and Alta and now Im stuck with everyone from Vegas and Southern Cali that come to Utah for the "greatest snow on earth". I bet ive been asked around 5 times if my Vishnu Wides (beads go brrrrrr) are cultural appropriation and shit. Gets annoying really, really fast.
On the brightside, there is a rail jam next week and whoever can come down and throw a 2 on and maybe a switch lip to switch could win an easy pair of vokyls, the park crew sucks down here so I never even try at their jams, but this year looks good and there is nobody down here who would be any competition.

And I feel yah. I only hit it a few times but we got zero zone up here and it’s sick, 99% positive we got a local ski foundation setting up a permanent park like ruby which is hype
