Correct me if I’m wrong but I think that this is a separate problem. My understanding is that before it was a mechanical issue with the send/search switch and this new problem is an electrical one (also related to the send/search function).

IDK. I don't even use them. I thought since many do, and this was new news, I'd post it.

Could be. I know the old issue was the receiver switching from send to receive too easily

please correct me if I am wrong, but I think the first recall/warning on Pieps had to do with the chest harness on some specific models bumping the on/off switch and in certain circumstances could switch the beacon off. They recalled the harness I believe.
