Christian_BaleI used to ride danollies and ARV 96s like 2cm back. When I started riding wets I switched to center. Didn't notice a difference either way.
CeleryThat's because wets are symmetrical. They're designed to be mounted center. The vacations are not.
Christian_BaleI know, that's why I mounted them center. Just making the point that I think 2cm is not really a noticeable difference for me or for most people in general. I agree that OP should mount his vacations 2cm back
J_skisTrue center will confirm ski mad weird. You're over the tip rocker so they're suuuuuper slarvy and hard to hold an edge.
If you're skiing almost 100% park I always suggest cutting the recommended mount point in half: so instead of -4cm go to -2cm. This will still allow the ski to grip and turn like it's supposed to, but be close enough to center where you won't notice a difference in swing weight or skiing switch.
Coleg55This sounds like my uncle trying to learn ski lingo
VeyLaurencI would suggest going with a true center mount. While it may feel a little weird at first, it will give you the most versatility for park riding and allow you to switch between regular and switch riding more easily.
