I’ll watch a 30 minute street movie no problem, but I feel like a park movie can’t be interesting for as long, maybe like five minutes is good. Idk what do you guys think? I only got like 4 street clips so for this year so far but I wanna put out a cut anyways
If you’re asking how long your edit should be, def don’t make it longer than five minutes. And def don’t do the same trick twice if you don’t know how to spice it up. The last two edits I watched on NS were just people doing very mellow straight slides and pretty much nothing else.
Okay, here is a 6:55 edit. Not worth much, but it did get me $5000.00, two pair of skis, four season passes, four pairs of Outdoor Research ski wear, and round trip to Bend for four from anywhere in the US with a week's stay in Sunriver with spa usage included.
It's easier to watch a long video when one can keep it fun.

ReturnToMonkeyWas this for some contest? I liked the editting! Thanks for gracing us Jacques
Exactly. I used some of the cash to get a new camera that would move me from 30fps to a whopping 60fps, but mostly a camera I could do follow work with. That's when I came up with my "Real Laps" concept.
I've had so much fun shooting Real Laps! Some hard knocks too! Never cut anything, except one with Mango years ago.
Not going to explain, but let's just say "something" went wrong, and I didn't want to show that.
Since then, Mango has come a long, long way.
I have 344 Real Laps online now. I shot a few more, but a few came back to me for assorted reasons, and wanted me to take them down. One reason was legit, as the guy was going into federal government work. They wanted to wipe all his presents online out. The others were just.........well, I'm too nice to say.
