I am a skier and skater. For a long time I have had shin periostitis because of my skateboard hitting my shins every time. Whenever I run, I feel it in my shin, the pain of what skiers call shin bangs appears really quickly. I did take some rest but it never leaves completely. Even worse when I ski and jump around the slopes. I’m not very good so I sometimes don’t land correctly. I got Fulltilt boots thinking it would change something but apparently, it’s still not perfect. When pressing on the front of the boots I have like a finger width between my calf and the back of the liner. Is this too much according to you ?
