K2 poaher stash

About the k2 poacher im asking if the ski is too heavy for me i weigh about 150 lbs and im 5’9. Should i get the 170 or 177. And if there is any other really bombproof skis pls tell me

Listen I know I'll get some serious dislikes but I got to tell ya I had 170 poachers last season and they were horrible! No flex they didn't carve well which is parchly my fault( I tried to detune my self with an angel grinder and it still didn't slide well on rails) I will say they are stinking durable though, so if you would rather have bords instead of skis just for durably then go ahead.

I saw ferdinand dahl do some steezy things on the slvsh yesterday they didnt seem too heavy for him

I'm 5'10 170lbs and ride the 177's. Definitely a stiff ski but hold up super well when you're going fast for all mountain. Not easy to butter on them though you really gotta throw your weight into them.

They're bombproof for me but I've always had good quality skis with K2 and Armada but just depends how you treat them and which ski will fit your style more

Agreed it is stiff, it takes skill to bend it. It carves extremely well for what it is so whoever said it didn’t that may have been user error. It’s very durable as well. Not the lightest ski on the market but light skis + park = not as durable so do the math there OP
