Replying to Its a Good Day

JT_:
I wake up to the blaring sound of my alarm clock. Clumsily I get dressed, and have a quick breakfast.
I head downstairs and put my snow pants on, grab my coat, gloves, and boots, and place them in the trunk of my car. I slowly pick up my ARV's, and as I walk back to the car, I envision the tricks and fun times I will have today. Carefully I place my skis in the trunk next to my boots, and hop up front. The morning traffic has not picked up yet as I drive through the quiet residential streets and into the countryside. About thirty minuets later, I cruse into the resort parking lot and find a front row spot.
I hop out of my car and immediately I am transported away from reality.
The cool crisp air runs through my hair, as the morning sun rises over the mist covered peaks. I put on my ski boots, and pick up my skis. With every step across the crunchy snow, my anticipation grows. As I reach the lift line, I look up at the freshly groomed runs and the perfect jumps. The park crew is still up there raking the last jump, and the pale blue sky has pink and orange ribbons threaded into the thin clouds. I clip my skis on with a satisfying "click", knowing that today will be a good day.
