WashedUpDadSup bitches, I haven't been on this website in over 8 years, not even sure if this place is even used anymore.....Long story short, I had several knee surgeries in 2012-2014 that completely ended my skiing days, all this gear went into storage in my closet and hasn't been worn or touched in years.....

Is it worth anything? I have no fucking idea. But if you want to tell folk tales of Tom Wallisch and the 4bi9 Crew....Simon Dumont dropping Slumdog Illionaire and going 200 feet to flat, Steve Stepp really not being great, but somehow being a relevant pro for years, Line Traveling Circus, Andy's annoying ass......when doubles were unheard of, Gus Kenworthy's sexual orientation wasn't talked about, and life was good to kids at your local mountain.....then this gear is for you....

XXXXL Team sized Jiberish Ignant Vest, yes the sought out largest size they made, every pro was wearing these, even guys not sponsored by them were wearing them.....it is not the red one, but fuck the red one, this one is cooler. I did wear this quite a bit back in the day but its in pretty damn good shape being its 12 years old....8/10

*TURBONERD*I’ve been around since early 2009 - I think it’s almost exactly 13 years now. I’ve got plenty of reasons to dislike the big social media platforms, but the mass exodus from communities like this is the biggest one. Even in this little thread I see multiple folks I’ve skied with in different parts of the country and I hope some of the younger members still have a chance to explore the huge as many of the country’s (or world’s, I guess) ski areas and wonders and turn online friends into real ones, however briefly. Damn, this is nostalgic.

On a related note, if anybody’s got a Jiberish Royale (purple) flannel they’re looking to sell, hit me up. My cats have done a number on mine.

ButteredToast.Been here since 2007. Lots of time spent shitposting on this site as a stupid high schooler, probably saying things that would bar me from public office.

I check in now and again every year when the season rolls around, just to see what's going on in NS land. I miss the days of this place being the town tavern of the ski world, meeting up to talk shop every night and keep up with the trends. Social media seems to have really stolen that from us.

I do get sad thinking about the bygone days of 4bi9, Saga, JOI, etc. Hard to believe it's been 10-15 years.

Funny to think back about all the goofy shit people posted on here. That one Nips kid who was some member's son, who knocked someone up and people wouldn't stop posting about it. The hot girls thread that was oh-so-coveted and squirreled away from horny middle schoolers that just wanted to see teh b00biez. eHeath being a dick to everyone just for kicks. Good times.

Nowadays I spend my time biking a lot, both pavement and dirt. Just more accessible with the work schedule. I have a comfortable job I like, a place to live, and great friends I see regularly. I don't ski or obsess about skiing as much as I used to, but my priorities are different and my mind is not as one-track as it used to be. Sometimes that does make me a little sad.

Consolation prize is that I have money for gear and trips now, which is awesome. Even if I can't toss rodeos or flips anymore for fear of busting my age-tightened ligaments, I'll always be crazy about skiing and dreaming of that next pow day, that next ripping, G-pulling carve, or that perfect all-switch groomer run.

Some of y'all talking about giving it all up and selling everything in here are crazy. I will always love skiing even if someday I'm stuck lazy carving on groomers because of my age.

ButteredToast.Whaaaaa! I don't think I could ever do that! Twin tips have been so engrained in my identity from the "core" years of 2005-2012ish that it would feel like a terrible sin to not have twins, even if I just turn into a corduroy hound someday
