For big mountain, powder and backcountry, what are your thoughts?

Are you going uphill at all? The CT 5.0 is a lot stronger of a ski and won’t get bucked around as easily in less than ideal conditions. If you want something for just pow skiing, either is good. Whitewalker is lighter so it’s less work to throw around. If you’re staying on the ground and doing the occasional spin, CT 5 is better IMO. If you’re doing a lot of spins and stuff like that the Whitewalker would be better in ideal conditions.
TLDR Whitewalker probably better if only skiing in virgin pow. CT 5.0 just as good in virgin pow, better when snow is tracked out afterwards.
