LazylightningDo you think it's made a noticeable difference?
Yeah I do, especially with the wrap liners and my chicken legs. However I switched to the pro tongue liner halfway through the season last yeah and with tying them up I don't use the dual straps anymore. Definitely made a difference. What are you trying to accomplish with them?
The dual straps from Patriot Footbeds are legit! Definitely an upgrade from the standard booster straps alone, although I'm sure the above idea of using the inner dual strap + Booster straps on the outside is as good as you can get. If you're in the market for some aftermarket power straps, I wouldn't hesitate to pick these up off of Patriot's site. The inner strap is not a gimmick, you really can feel the difference in the level of hold around your lower leg. Plus, Craig is an awesome guy/small business owner so you can feel good supporting him! I highly recommend watching some of his bootorials (though definitely a little cheesy at times) to help figure out what else is wrong with your boots. I personally use his footbeds, the liner sleeve, the dual straps, and his ski socks (best out there IMO!).
you could also consider the Atomic Professional Dual straps. Both straps are elastic (Booster patent expired) and is designed to have one sit on the cuff, the other the liner. Notice that the top most is adjustable as well.
Supposedly 100% of Atomic racers have made the switch to them after they were introduced - if I remember the latest Matt Manser / nerdyguy interview correctly. They supposedly work very, very well.

We gave this to our top GS athletes last year just, a few weeks before the first race in Sölden. Lucas Braathen took the win with it and anyone who wasn't on it switched immediately. I can't think of any of our big names that haven't switched over to it.
As Kapow said, there's a top half that sits on the liner tongue and a bottom half that sits on the plastic cuff. You crank the strap down tight and then you adjust the outermost top strap (the velcro one). It's like adjusting a compression dial on a shock or fork- the tighter you make the velcro strap, the more direct/responsive the strap is; the looser you make it, the more active suspension you have.

I am very interested I can’t visualize how/if this would work on the Mach 1 I just got..seems like the rear cuff is too low.
You think it would work?

“Nerdyguy” ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ put some respect on Matt’s name

CatdickBojanglesFinal question lol. Will they work well with a 3 piece boot (FTs)?
Should be fine? I've never put one on a 3-piece boot, but I imagine it would work fine. You just might have some issues with how it threads (or doesn't thread) through the back of the cuff. It most likely will have to live outside of the cuff and not sniggle its way inside.
AaronO.I must know more now. Would the hawx or redster version be the go to for a mach 1?
Either is ok. Both straps fit and function the same exact way. The only difference is that the Hawx version has a Quick-Release cam buckle for a fast getaway and the Redster version has a traditional push-to-release cam buckle.

I tried to reference his nick quite obviously, but I (also quite obviously) did not remember it correctly. Oh well. No disrespect was intended, he did not seem to find the slip annoying ( so a bit weird that you do) and I did get you talking about / wanting his product no? ;)

I thought I was obviously just poking fun lol I don’t care if you mess his name up
