Downey is a king. Saw him recently and I was very pleased to find out he did some more filming at hood recently for a lil vid with b dog. Stoked to see that.
SofaKingSicklmao for some reason i thought this was recent and i was like god damn he's still so sick but his music choice is like 20 years behind...
Well I've seen some clips from this summer on IG of him that definitely shows proof he still has it. Styley as ever with those huge 180s over the knuckle and more.
I love his style of skiing but i also love aspects of new wave, everyone’s so one sided but like personally i look at jake mageau and some advice he gave me.
why can’t there be a middle ground between new wave and gorilla steeze and tbh if you’re out there skiing tryna improve and enjoying the sport then who cares
Level1Liam Downey has been one of the biggest supporters of the new wave... stop comparing and just appreciate things for what they are

This edit holds up surprisingly well - there are plenty of tricks, like the cuban 5, D-spins, and sniper tap combos that wouldn't be out of place in a modern edit. Others have already said it, but Liam has been really important in helping new wave skiers grow. I think he still does some coaching at Windell's.
