Great ski. A bit different shape and rocker lines, but similar use and and what both designs excel at - and usually relatively easy to find at a discount in Euroland. ON3Ps will have more rocker, but stiffer flex, Völkls have a rounder flex but less splay - so in the end - not to dissimilar ride from a shape point of view. ON3Ps are damper. Völkls do not have the same build quality as ON3Ps though nor are they as bombproof, but still great skis.

The best time of year to buy cheaper ON3Ps is during their spring sale. They usually have some blemish skis (slight "defect most other other manufacturers wouldn't even label as a defect) and sample skis (used for product photos, so same as last bracket) that can be bought at discounted prices. You missed out on this years sale, but there is always next year eh.

Thanks i’ll look into them. I’m probably never gonna buy on3ps though because paying 800 + 100 for a pair of skis without bindings just goes against my standards

You can get them for $500 with the blem and sample skis.

Also, Revolt 104s are cheap on sport Bittl and sport Conrad

Agree….the Revolt 104…..

I know I'm piling in here, but the revolt 104s are a really good ski, I've never been on a pair of ON3P's though, so can't compare.

Sometimes it is fun to save up and go for those dream items that just makes you sooo stoked to use them. Besides, with ON3P you get what you pay for, so if your standards/preferences involve spending less than retail then now you now when to get said skis at a discount :)

And as mentioned, the spring sale runs 500-650usd + shipping - and shipping will always be around the 99mark or more when shipping sales items across the pond. It is kinda hard to be salty about it as the only reason we find it to be high is that the sales and shipping policies can be so incredibly low here in Euroland.

I would also ask you to please refrain from ragging on indie ski companies because they charge you what the shipping actually costs, just because Sport Bittl and Sport Conrad does not. The latter two sell 1 000 000% more stock, probably get way lower rates from the shipping companies and their business models are based on a lower pr item profit margin to break even (one that probably would put ON3P or Moment out of business real quick at their current volume of sales).

Until then, skis like Revolts are damned good skis and can be had at lower prices. Jubilations :)

Gunna be kinda tough. ON3P uses bamboo cores which provides a unique feel to the skis. Other companies use bamboo but I’m not sure what companies do.

Atomic Bentchetler 100 would be a similar ride, great skis. People talk about bamboo and all that, but just like literally any other ski it just changes the flex profile and they dial it in with things like carbon stringers. The reason to get an ON3P ski is durability. I still ride my 2009/10 Jeronimos A LOT as a park ski/sunny day ripper, I have a pair of Jeffrey's from like 2012, and I bought the first pair of Billy Goat's they ever shipped out to a customer that I rode twice at Snowbasin this year on deep days for fun. The sticks hold up amazingly well. I've got 10 pairs of skis on my families ski rack (parents keep their here), and I own 4 of them simply because my ON3P's won't die and I don't need to sell them. I have broken a pair of Blue Steele's, but that's what happens to park skis when you are trying to progress in your early 20's. They get destroyed in the crashes eventually.

Honestly man, my bindings on those Jeronimo's are toast and I'm either going to remount them with a new pair of clamps or retire them and buy the exact same ski again in the Jeffrey 96.

I get that. I just want to use that 99 bucks more efficiently, and given that I would then have a 4 ski quiver I think it would take a while to brake any given ski.

Liberty does not use full bamboo, I believe they have some bamboo stringers.

I believe Liberty has used full bamboo in past but it’s mostly poplar/bamboo.

Small company but Slant skis uses full bamboo. I love the way a bamboo core feels. Snappy and powerful yet damp.
