WoFlowzKeep the skis in a dry area for a few days with low humidity then slap some epoxy over those topsheet chips. Should be fine as long as the core isn’t rotting or damaged
sullivanobrien_the top sheet chips aren't a big deal i'm pretty sure.

sullivanobrien_yeah but that was in april or earlier and i skied quite a bit after that and it must have gotten a lot of water in it in May but there hasn't been an issue. i think if that's an issue it's gonna end up breaking on the summer setup before i ever think about this idea

sullivanobrien_i'm getting them re mounted for my new boots soon so i'll just ask to have that done as well
pinkcamo1000nah man go the hardware store, get some epoxy and do it yourself. I bet if you ask the shop to do that they will try to convince you to buy new skis. People who work at ski shops can be very chill but it's also kind of their job to sell skis, and when get asked to fix fucked up gear they will often do that.
If you take the initiative to fix it yourself, they will say to themselves "oh, this guy is a park rat who is willing and able to fix his own gear, he def isn't going to buy new skis" whereas if you march in there and ask them to fix a topsheet chip they're gonna be like "hey you know whats easier and better than that? new skis bro!!"
sullivanobrien_nah the guy at the shop knows i already bought vishnu's and that these skis are just for summer setup and maybe eventually to my friend. he probably won't even charge me at all. he recently sold me a pair of atomic haux 120 somethings for 50$. he's a good guy
