NEW SKI ALERT: do I buy Vishnu, Fischer, ON3P, or Lib Tech?

My 2011 after bangs finally broke this season after about 3 season of hard east coast rail abuse and plenty of park laps my last 2 seasons out in Colorado. Def sad to lose these beasts but to be pissed would be greedy asf considering they lasted me that long when I did basically no maintainence besides grinding the edges down once years ago before a Killington trip. Now I gotta cough up some dough and after a lot of research and personal experience I narrowed down my picks: Fischer Nightsticks, ON3 Magnus, Lib Tech Backwards, and Vishnu Wets. I have some 116 JJs and those are my mountain powder rippers so I do not need a versatile ski, plan one solely lapping park with this new pair so wanna hear some opinions on the most durable. If they break they break I get its park, but I'm a broke boy rn so if spending the extra for the ON3Ps is actually 2 seasons of a difference then lmk. I bought J skis for 600 a couple seasons ago to replace my after bangs, but the edges underfoot ripped out after a season, so id hate to drop bread and be left with my dick in my hands pissing into the wind again like that. *cough cough J Lev* Wets and Backwards are around the same price 450 and Nightsticks going for 500 compared to the 650 Magnus. Lemme hear some opinions Thanks

Rail heavy tryna and get more into jumps next season.......so probably less buttery a little more stiff but able to enjoy nollies Ollies and tail pressing

Vishnu has Plus versions of the Wets which are what I was considering they're much more stiff which would be better for what I want

dog I must admit it doesn’t sound like you have narrowed down your picks, you’re ranging from a pipe ski to Vishnu’s. is there any specific reason you’ve chosen these skis? Seems to me like you could hop on snowshare or BST and pick up anything

Vishnus plus, mags, maybe Icelantic nomad 95 or da nollies, even bdogs could all be decent options if you wanna hit a ton of rails and then learn some more stuff on the jumps.




disclaimer I haven’t skied any of these but have friends who have and sound similar to what you like

If you really want Vishnu maybe check out the key. I'd go ahead and say you shouldnt get the nightsticks.

If you end up getting Vishnus you should either get the plus or the keys since they will be a bit stiffer. I think that ON3P's tend to be a bit stiffer and everyone that has them says that they are super durable. They are also pre detuned which should help with reducing edge cracks and stuff.

if you're coming from afterbangs (and your other skis are JJs) and you don't actively want something way stiffer, then i think it's safe to say you don't want the night sticks. if you want to get basically a higher level version of your old afterbangs maybe go wets but i think you should get something a little more mid range. idk much about the libtechs you mentioned but out of the (kind of all-over-the-place) options you listed, that seems like a good middle ground. also consider arv 96 or others

If you want to hit jumps then I would go for the Vishnu wet plus

but typos aside, good suggestions (for what OP might be interested in, i haven't used those skis)
