LazylightningIt seems like you can bump up V sizes, so if you normally ride in the high 170s then a 183 would be ok
This is mostly true. Both Wets and Wides are pretty light skis for their respective categories which does help the swingweight and means you can size up a bit. But a 183 Wide definitely still felt like more to spin than say, a 177 Reckoner 102 to me. My entirely unscientific guesstimate on this is they feel about half a size shorter than most other skis if that makes sense. So 177 feels about like a normal 173-4, the 183 feels about like a normal 179-180 when you average out how they ski and also how they feel in the air. So I would just treat the length offerings as 173, 179, and 185 and buy whichever of those you'd normally buy. If you're still deciding between two, you could also opt for the plus version of the shorter length.
SlowbroJust get the biggest size, otherwise the cool kids will make fun of you
Or just do this.
