I find it helps you in the park bc you feel more like you are gliding into the air as opposed to breaking free of the lip when you are hitting jumps or rails. If your skis dont have fast bases to start with then fluoro wax isnt going to make you shit your pants but you will probably get speed gains from fluoro no matter how good your base is.
But yeah, fluoro wax on fast bases on 25 degree snow will make you shit the entire length of your small intestine into your pants and you wont care because the thrill of speed will become greater than the fear of pant-shitting.

i would if i could. I would be surprised if there werent any vendors/stores/warehouses/factory workers who didnt have thousands of pounds of fluoro wax stowed away with the same idea as me.

you can spend 160$ now and have a faster wax that will last you your whole life.

For me its a no brainer.

i already bought myself 10 of these boxes so ive got about 25 kg of this shit (55 pounds).

I think if you have skis with a good base and you like waxing your skis this wax is a purchase you wont regret.

i put this wax on my skis this winter (its universal temp so you dont have to worry about different temperatures) and because of the fluoro in it my skis slid fast as fuck. The difference was easily noticeable. The fluorocarbons simply make the wax slick as fuck.

You mean like those spray on waxes? Apparently they will get a little bit of wax into the base but not as much as you get from ironing in some regular wax

Cool. But yeah i dont think you need to iron in wax more than once every few days. So using slray on at lunch might not be necessary.

depending on conditions and wax and how much you ski, you will have to iron wax every day. this is especially true with waxes like red and yellow (8/10) since you ski them in conditions with older wet snow it just gets eaten fast. even just skiing a couple of hours you will clearly see/feel the base gettiing dry.

one trick is that after baseprep you use a blue(6) or torquise(7) they are hard enough to not strip that fast, and just use a liquid coating in between like a red or yellow vola on topp, this way will hold you 10+ days, just not for the water skiiing conditions.

This is not surprising given it's banned as mentioned above, we have quite a bit left at our shop and no one's really interested in buying it even on sale
