Hammers or tech shit?
So many people in the aggressive inline community talk about how people doing wacky/minimal shit on skates will look more fun and engaging to non-bladers than death-defying gaps or grinds. I'm not really sure tbh.

AlaskaDogfartMost people don't get into skiing because of the bunch. They all get in because they see Candide or Sammy Carlson throwing absolutely enourmous shit into 6 foot deep powder, or watch X games.
SlowbroFor skiing it was watching THall and Simon at Xgames Superpipe. For blading it was watching old Chris Haffey street parts. I think hammers are more appealing to outsiders and technical stuff is only cool to people that are into the sport and "get it".
