Carved 3's

Hey guys, I'm having issues doing a carved 3. I can do 360s off my inside edges but I always have difficulties going carved, It's kind of like I forget to pop, any tips? Also, I'll try to get a video of my 3's by this weekend so some tips on how I can clean my style up will help

I do the same thing i just try to go bigger so i dont have to pop alot sounds dumb but it works

I learned them by doing them on side hits/transitions. They are kind of more like a 270 when you do them on side hits, but they sort of force/help with getting on your right or left edge.

try a front flip and grab blunt, this should actually set u up perfect for a carve 3

If you feel you're missing the pop just go faster until you get the feel. My first ones I felt a little more comfortable going lower on the jump. post vids

I had the opposite problem where I couldn't 3 a jump without carving. Just make sure you're looking in the right direction, not down

when craving into a jump change endges at the bottom of the jump and make sure that the takeoff of the jump is at the apex of the turn.

yeah same, I try and have some speed so I can do a pretty mellow pop. Been injured all season so only got 2 park days but heres a little hit a couple weeks ago. felt so good to hit a jump again!
