Replying to S/Pro vs S/Max

HomerPimpin:
I've been looking for a new boot and the S/Pro's were great after a season of rentals, I was wondering if the S/Max's are really that much different from them. I remember reading somewhere a while back that S/Pro's are just newer S/Max's and the S/Max's are narrower, though I plan on getting them heat molded anyway so it doesn't really matter. Are there any other notable or important differences I should know? Thanks in advance
